    Westonka Public Schools Brand Honored with Statewide Awards

    The Westonka Public Schools brand has received statewide recognition for excellence, earning two prestigious awards at the 2025 Minnesota Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) annual Classics Awards, held April 24.

    Westonka Honors Dedicated Educators, Volunteers and Retirees at Annual District Celebration

    Westonka Public Schools staff and retirees gathered May 2 at the Westonka Performing Arts Center for the annual district recognition event. Emceed by Special Services Director Dr. Emily Rustman and School Board Clerk Loren Davis, the morning program honored staff who had reached years of service milestones, celebrated the building and district Teachers of the Year, recognized the 2025 winners of the Ann Bremer White Hawks Award for community volunteers, and bid farewell to retiring staff.

    Mound Westonka High School Student Senate gave it their all to create an incredible prom for senior and junior students on May 3. "A Night Enchanted” was the theme, complete with decorations and twinkling lights that created an enchanting backdrop to the festivities.

    MWHS Bands Present 2025 Senior Awards at Spring Concert

    The Mound Westonka High School bands performed their annual spring concert on May 5 on the Westonka Performing Arts Center stage. In addition to presenting an entertaining evening of music, the event provided an opportunity to recognize letter winners and present the traditional senior awards.

    Westonka DECA Students Bring Home Glass from Internationals

    Mound Westonka High School made history this year by sending a record-breaking 49 students to the 2025 DECA International Career Development Conference. MWHS juniors Sophia Kravchenko and Lauren Russ took third in the International Business Plan event, earning MWHS its first-ever third place glass trophy.
